The 2018 walkathon is approaching fast – Saturday, May 5th. And your help is needed!
The walkathon is always such a fun day for the whole Redwood Heights family. Last year almost 300 students participated – and more than 100 of their parents and guardians, who helped make sure everything ran smoothly and safely.
Volunteer signups for this year’s event are now underway. There are lots of fun jobs! Find something you like and sign up to work with a friend! There are slots available all day long, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shifts are 60-90 minutes. SIGN UP HERE (coming soon).
The walkathon is the most popular event at the school because everyone comes together to have fun, get healthy and raise money that will directly help our children.
Dozens of volunteers are needed, with all kinds of ways to help out, including: event planning, course set-up, Check-in and Check-out, course staffing, runners, first aid station, food station staffing, popsicle coordinator, and clean-up.
